After the Bobo-Dioulasso tomato processing plant last November 30, I inaugurated this morning the Societé Faso Tomatoes (SOFATO) plant in Yako, also specialized in the processing and commercialization of tomato derivatives.
Brought to you by the Cooperative Society with the Board of Directors (SCOOP-CA) “Building the Future”, this factory is the fruit of popular shareholders and a testimony to the determination of the Burkinabe people to take control of their destiny.
I am firmly convinced that Burkina Faso has the necessary human resources and potentials to ensure the welfare of its people and its victorious march towards a better tomorrow.
