“This day, December 25, the Christian faithful in Burkina Faso celebrate Christmas marking the birth of Christ.
On this festive occasion, my thoughts are with all those internally displaced persons who have not yet returned to their native places.
I pay tribute to all the combat forces engaged, far from their families, on the frontline of reclaiming the integrity of our territory and whose work convinces us of the imminent end of the war on terrorism.
I wish for peace to return to Burkina Faso, to engage our country on the path of stability and economic prosperity.
Merry CHRISTmas to all Christians! “
